Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri attended the spiritual gathering “Mehfil Khatam-e-Quran” marking the 27th of Ramadan in Jame Al-Mustafa in Canada. Shaykh Ahmad Mustafa al-Arabi al-Qadri led the Isha prayer. Those who offered the prayer under his imamat included Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madni al-Qadri, Muhammad Shahbaz Junior (former Olympian of Pakistani hockey team), religious scholars, local notables, Mashaykh, journalistic and business personalities and members of the local Muslim community in a large number.
Gifts were distributed among Haffaz after Taraweeh prayer. The ceremony came to an end with a tearful Dua of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
