MQI Canada arranged a ceremony in remembrance of Farid-e-Millat Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri (ra), the beloved father of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The program started with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran by Qari Shafiq Ahmad Naeemi Al-Azhari in his beautiful and melodious voice followed by the translation and the narration of three Hadith by Hafiz Umair Waqas.
Next, praises and salutations were presented in the court of our beloved Prophet (pbuh) by Abdullah Sheikh.
Senior members NEC of MQI Canada were in attendance including President MQI Canada Kamran Rashid, General Secretary Khalid Iqbal, Secretary Finance Syed Tariq Imam, Finance Advisor Ghulam Rasool and more members from different departments of MQI Canada.
The keynote speech on the occasion was delivered by Allama Muhammad Ahmad Awan in which he highlighted the life and the struggle of Farid-e-Millat Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri. He reiterated that it was through the special Dua of Farid-e-Millat that the world was blessed with the birth of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Allama Muhammad Ahmad Awan made Dua for the departed soul of Dr Farid-ud-Din Qadri. He also prayed to Allah to rid humanity of the scourge of Covid-19 and enable suffering humanity to overcome the hardships.
